2022 Beach Soccer Super Sand Eagles draw Mozambique, Malawi, Morocco in Group A,
The Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria have been placed in Group A of the 2022 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations alongside the hosts Mozambique, debutants Malawi, and Morocco.
On Friday, the biannual competition’s draw ceremony was held in Maputo, Mozambique.
Due to their heritage and track record, the Super Sand Eagles are considered favorites to advance from the group.
On home turf, the Eagles won the championship in 2016 and 2018. Additionally, they won a bronze medal in 2015.
In Group B, Senegal, the defending champion, will compete against Uganda, Madagascar, and Egypt.
The competition will take place in Mozambique from October 21–28.
The competition will be held in Vilankulo, a charming tourist destination noted for its beach resort and attractive surroundings.
