2023 INEC makes shocking revelation over website. The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has issued a warning over a fraudulent recruiting website that is being around on social media ahead of the general elections in 2023.
This was announced by INEC last night via a post on its social media pages.
The electoral commission had earlier launched a hiring drive for its ad hoc workers, who would be used to handle the next elections, according to DAILY POST.
However, INEC has stepped forward to distance itself from it in response to the construction of a fictitious website for the recruitment of ad hoc workers by unidentified persons.
In order to mislead trusting individuals, some unidentified persons were spreading a false adhoc recruiting link, https://inecnigeria.govservice.site/, on numerous social media platforms, regularly frequented websites, and blogs, the statement stated.
“We kindly request Nigerians to ignore the false link and stay away from con artists.
“There is no cost associated with the INEC Adhoc Recruitment Exercise. The entire application procedure is free of any payments of any sort, it stated.
