2023 NNPP unveils, Mazawaje as guber running mate to Hunkuyi in Kaduna. Dr. Sani Mazawaje was introduced by the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kaduna on Friday as Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi’s running mate for governor in the 2023 elections. At the unveiling of Mazawaje in Kaduna, Hunkuyi reaffirmed the party’s readiness to take charge of state affairs if given the mandate and strictly govern by justice, fair play, and equity while also enlisting the support of each region of the state to promote peaceful coexistence in the state.

He bemoaned the stark religious and racial division in the state, saying it had undermined the fundamental principles of popular democracy there.

“Kaduna State requires a leader with a strong political will to ensure inclusivity to fast give the people hope of togetherness and doing things as expected in an ideal society,” the speaker stated.

In order for the people to work together as a family for the general growth of the state, he continued, “As things are right now, the residents of the state are in desperate need of a leader who will unify and ensure equality in all domains of governance.”

The state has been plagued by an unprecedented level of insecurity, according to Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, which has resulted in the loss of life and property.

In the next general elections, he urged the populace to exercise wise judgment.

His running mate for governor, Dr. Sani Mazawaje, stated that the general elections in 2023 will provide Nigerians, particularly those in Kaduna State, another chance to make sure they turn out in large numbers to vote against terrible leadership.

In order to restore the state to its former splendor, he urged the electorates to make sure that trustworthy leaders be elected to political office.

“The 2023 general elections give eligible voters an opportunity to elect genuine leaders into governing posts and to remedy so many things that have gone wrong in Kaduna State and the nation at large,” he stressed.
