ASUU strike: UI announces resumption date. The University of Ibadan (UI) has declared that classes would start up again on Monday.
This was verified in a statement made by Mrs. Olubunmi Faluyi, the institution’s registrar and secretary to council.
At a meeting on October 17, 2022, the university’s Senate, according to Faluyi, endorsed Monday, October 24, 2022, as the start date.
Residence halls would open on Sunday, October 23, 2022, she noted.
Faluyi added, “We wish our students journey mercies as they return to the school on behalf of the Council and Senate of the University.
