Aubameyang’s criticism of Arteta gets answered in the English Premier League.. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang criticized Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, for his leadership style.
After a dispute with Arteta, who stripped him of the leadership and exiled him from the Gunners’ first squad, Aubameyang was forced to quit Arsenal in February 2022.
The Gabonese international played with Arsenal for 163 appearances, scoring 92 goals, but to advance his career, he had to go to Barcelona. He has since returned to London with Chelsea.
Aubameyang made multiple jabs at Arteta in an interview with Jewellers posted on their YouTube channel immediately after switching from Arsenal to Barcelona, including that the Spaniard is unable to handle strong players.
In addition, Arteta stated that Aubameyang was allowed to express himself as he pleased while speaking to the media on Wednesday ahead of their Europa League matchup on Thursday.
When asked what he thought of Aubameyang’s remarks and management of major players, the former Manchester City assistant coach responded, “People are allowed to talk what they want.”
He said, “Phenomenal, I’ve never been in a better dressing room,” in reference to the environment inside his team this season.
