EPL Chelsea mean business, you’ve to wake up now – Enrique warns Liverpool. Jose Enrique, a former Liverpool defender, has urged his former team to take notice of the transfer market because Chelsea is taking no prisoners. Enrique made this comment in response to rumors that Chelsea was considering a double deal for Christopher Nkunku and Josko Gvardiol of RB Leipzig.
According to prior reports, Chelsea is competing with Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur for the services of Gvardiol.
Additionally, Graham Potter’s team is said to have reached a pre-contract deal with Nkunku that would allow the French attacker to move to Stamford Bridge soon.
Enrique is concerned that Jurgen Klopp’s team might fall behind in the fight for the top four this season as Chelsea pursues two of the best up-and-coming players in Europe.
“Chelsea are serious… It will be challenging for us to place in the top four if we don’t get up,” Erinque tweeted.
