The Gunners recovered, played well, and ultimately missed qualifying for the Champions League by a little margin.
The north Londoners have won five of their first six games and are presently atop the league standings.
Additionally, Arteta was named August’s Premier League manager of the month.
“Many managers have demonstrated that you sometimes have to go through difficult times and setbacks and demonstrate your ability to handle in those situations. Demonstrate your ability to overcome difficulties and expand on them.
“There are many instances of it; Ralph Hasenhuttl is one of them.
“You’re looking at Mikel Arteta, who is undoubtedly enjoying himself now that he is leading the Premier League. If you spoke to him, I bet it wasn’t all ups and great moments and taking it all in.
However, “what he did in the difficult times was he went ahead.”
