EPL Paul Scholes names club to win title, reveals position Man United will finish. According to Paul Scholes, Manchester City will still win the Premier League championship at the end of the current campaign.

The former England midfielder predicted that his old team Manchester United will finish second to Manchester City in the Premier League this year as the “best of the rest.”

Manchester City, who are now in second place and one point behind Arsenal in the hunt for the title this season, are putting pressure on them. With 15 points from their first eight league games, Erik ten Hag’s United team is sixth.

Before the break for the international break, United had won four straight games. After the break, they fell to Manchester City 6-3, but last weekend, they defeated Everton.

Manchester United can close the deficit if they win their game-in-hand, but they are eight points and nine points behind City and Arsenal, respectively.

Scholes responded on BT Sport when asked if United can be the “best of the rest” this season behind Manchester City: “Yeah, I think they can; they have the squad to accomplish it.

I was quite worried that United wouldn’t finish in the top six after those first two games.

“But they’ve given themselves a terrific opportunity with the manner they’ve come back, winning five of their previous six games. They appear to have the potential to be the greatest among the others.

“I believe they have the roster of players that indicates they may be.”
