Ex-APC Deputy Publicity Secretary, Timi Frank tasks PDP leaders to unite for victory. Comrade Timi Frank on Saturday urged PDP officials to work with Atiku Abubakar’s newly formed Presidential Campaign Council in order to secure victory.
In a statement made available to DAILY POST, Frank, the former APC deputy national publicity secretary, praised the former vice president for choosing people of proven character to serve on the campaign council.
Given their necessary qualifications, he expressed confidence that the Chairman and Director General of the Council, Governors Udom Emmanuel and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, would fulfill their obligations.
He remembered how Aminu Tambuwal, a lawyer before entering politics, and Udom Emmanuel, who was successful in the banking field before entering politics, both achieved success in their various political positions before becoming governors of their respective States.
Frank urged all resentful PDP members to forgive all transgressions and strive for the victory of the party in the general election of 2023, saying that the only thing standing in the way of the PDP winning elections is the turmoil engulfing the party.
He asserts that it is clear that only the PDP can turn around the nation’s deteriorating economic fortunes as a result of the APC administration’s lack of focus and strategic planning.
Insisting that Nigerians turn to the PDP to save them from the misrule, corruption, and terrible leadership fostered by the APC, Frank, the United Liberation Movement for West Papau (ULMWP) Ambassador to East Africa and the Middle East, said, “PDP cannot afford to fail.”
He emphasized that the PDP was on the right track by choosing leaders with the necessary political gravity and clout, and that this would help the party win in 2023. He also cautioned the presidential campaign council to base their outreach on issues.
The moment has come, according to Frank, to set personal interests aside and work together to ensure the PDP’s electoral triumph. Although there were several competitors at the party primary, only one winner may be chosen.
“The PDP must function as a single and cohesive body in order to win at the polls now that we have our candidates for the presidency, governorship, senate, and houses of assembly.
“Personal hatred must not be sacrificed on the altar of the Nigerian people’s desire to see the PDP retake power in 2023. One is PDP. Only by staying as one will PDP be able to win. History is calling!
