TMessi’s return to Barcelona through transfer is “possible” in 2019. Lionel Messi returning to Barcelona for the upcoming season is “possible,” according to Barcelona vice president Eduard Romeu.
Last year, Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain after leaving Camp Nou as a free agent.
But his two-year contract with the Ligue 1 winners will end the following year.
Romeu has not suggested that Barca would be considering bringing the 35-year-old back.
Romeu told El Mati de Catalunya Radio that if he returned, it would be financially feasible because he would be a free agent.
But the choice must be made by the athlete and the coaching staff.
“To make those decisions does not belong to me, but it is a possibility.”
