Nigerians fed up with Independence broadcasts, political leaders will be disgraced – Pastor Giwa. According to Adewale Giwa, Senior Pastor of the Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, the leaders’ Independence Day broadcasts are no longer of interest to Nigerians.
Giwa claimed that the broadcasts have consistently been full of meaningless platitudes that did little to improve the lives of Nigerians.
The Pastor emphasized that the nation required leaders dedicated to resolving the numerous crises it was experiencing during his sermon to the audience at his church in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, on Sunday.
He insisted that by 2023, the nation’s political oppressors will be exposed.
“Because their leaders repeat the same message every year, Nigerians are no longer pleased to listen to their leaders’ Independence Day broadcasts.
“God has blessed our country with a wealth of resources, but it is regrettable that we lack leaders who can really serve the country.
“Our political leaders prefer to appeal to the crowd. Nothing special, including a lack of infrastructure, reliable energy, and adequate roads.
“Because to the widespread banditry in the nation, we are no longer able to sleep with our two eyes closed. We must completely and honestly restructure, or else.
“Let me also reiterate what God warned me during my new year’s speech to Nigeria: the oppressors of the political system would be shamed and brought low. This has to happen eventually. They are unable to flee it. The wrath of God is inescapable for them.
