Police commission dares Force headquarters, insists recruitment portal running. The Police Service Commission (PSC) has declared that the Nigeria Police’s constable recruiting website is still active.
Additionally, the commission said that it had received over 60,000 applications.
On Wednesday, the PSC’s head of press and public relations, Ikechukwu Ani, released a statement.
The commission committed not to renege on its constitutional duty to fill the Force with Nigerians.
Ani advised anyone who were interested in working for the security service to keep applying and do so.
According to the Public Service Rules, the PSC would shortly examine promotion exams for police officers, he stated.
The most recent data reveals that communication between the PSC and the Force HQ is not good.
Force Public Relations Officer CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated in August that the Force has not yet started the hiring process for 2022.
The spokesperson cautioned the general public to ignore any advertisements for constable job opportunities.
