Soludo reacts to killing of soldiers in Anambra, assures arrest of perpetrators. The governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has acknowledged and denounced the death of troops in Umunze.
According to a statement from Soludo’s chief press secretary, Christian Aburime, the troops were attacked in Umunze while on a regular patrol by unnamed gunmen.
We strongly condemn this evil and heartless act, Soludo stated. This act’s offenders must make amends. Those that attacked Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and the rest will not be allowed to rest on their laurels. There will be no place for them to hide at all.
“Our actions moving forward will be evident, and these individuals will undoubtedly pay a price for this vile and abhorrent crime,”
The governor asked the people of Anambra to maintain peace and follow the law since the security agents are in control of the situation.
