“The South-Western region of Nigeria is to blame for all of the current economic and security issues in the nation since the South-Western states supported the APC in the 2015 presidential election.
Because one of their own, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the APC, the same South-Westerners are the ones clamoring for a southern presidency, according to Bakare.
He bemoaned the fact that people causing the nation’s problems belong to the same clique and will never allow the nation to be at peace due to their own self-interest.
If all of these antiquated battalions are expelled from the system, Nigeria might be able to solve her political issues.

Speaking about the Muslim-Muslim APC ticket, Bakare said that Nigeria’s issue has been tribalism rather than religion.
He stressed that tribe and religion do not constitute effective government and that for Nigeria to advance, Nigerians must put an end to their tribal and religious emotions.
