Ummita Buhari, lady allegedly killed by Chinese man buried in Kano.Kulsum Ummu The woman slain in Kano, Sani Buhari, was buried in Kano State in accordance with Islamic customs.
According to information obtained by DAILY POST, her remains was buried on Saturday about 11 a.m., with mourners, family members, and friends present.
The deceased, also known as Ummita, was 23 years old. Mr. Geng, a Chinese guy, is accused of killing the girl.
The event happened on Friday evening at a home owned by Kuntau in the Dorayi neighborhood of Janbullo by the Kumbotso Local Government.
According to reports, Geng jumped the fence to enter the house and then crept into his target’s room.
The deceased was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Sokoto and had earned a degree in agriculture science from Kampala University in Uganda.
Before settling on a different man in the city, Geng dated Ummita for nearly two years.
But once the marriage fell apart, she went back to live with her family. Geng pursued Ummita and reportedly fatally stabbed her because he still can’t get over his breakup.
The preliminary investigation’s findings would soon be made public, according to SP Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, the Kano Police Command’s public relations officer.
After being protected from mob violence by agents, Geng is now in the custody of the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
