War Ukrainian missiles hit building during Russian senior officials meeting. Following an attack on a structure used by the Russian invaders in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, at least one death has been verified.
Russian news organizations claim that Ukrainian military attacked the facility on Friday by launching five missiles at it.
The attacks took place during a meeting of top officials, Yekaterina Gubareva, the regional administration’s deputy head who was placed by Russia, informed reporters.
Since the invasion’s start on February 24 only Kherson, the capital of a Ukrainian province, has been continually held by Russian forces.
By the end of the year, Ukrainian armed forces want to retake the city on the Dnipro River, which was home to over 300,000 people before the conflict. (dpa/NAN)
