Yobe North Machina breaks silence over court judgement. Bashir Sheriff Machina, the APC senatorial candidate for Yobe North, has praised the Federal High Court decision recognizing him as the party’s legitimate senatorial candidate and dubbed it a triumph for justice.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Machina responded to the incident and urged all of his followers and the residents of Yobe North to maintain calm and uphold the law.
The APC leader called for quick peace between the two factions that exist inside the party in Yobe North and proclaimed the verdict to be one in which “no victor, no vanquished” was true.
“I applaud Judge Damaturu’s ruling from the Federal High Court. This triumph is one that upholds justice. The next war we must fight is the struggle for the APC’s triumph in the next general elections in 2023,’ he added. “It is now time to put aside our disagreements and tighten ranks for the forthcoming battle.
The senatorial candidate expressed gratitude to all of his backers for their unwavering support and passionate prayers, stating that, if elected, he would work hard to improve the lives of his residents.
